Industry & Enterprise

Ian Hill succeeds as a motivational speaker where others fall flat... I've gone through the "Big Guns" such as Dyer, Chopra, Robbins and the like. They all seem to offer formulae that have worked for them and others but human diversity is just too much to allow one particular method to lead to personal fulfillment and a feeling of worth as a human.

Ian on the other hand, asks us to look deeper into ourselves and become the best human being we can be by drawing on our innate resources and with our very own style and technique. He doesn't ask us to become enlightened or even a spiritual leader. He challenges us to come up with our own method of looking at the world and finding our own true potential.

I have never been so moved by such an individual with as much passion, commitment... as Ian Hill. His presence at the conference has forever changed my outlook on life.

Lauren S.

Your speech was uplifting, encouraging and it renewed my faith in mankind. Attending these conferences, we hear a lot of different people with a lot of different messages but none have ever had the impact on me that yours did.

Dottie P.

Inspirational and poignant; Ian gives step-by-step instructions/suggestions on how to change your life.

Municipalities & Schools

Ian Hill is the most emotionally moving speaker that I have ever personally witnessed and I have witnessed many. Zig Ziglar, Les Brown, Lou Holtz, and Tom Peters all have strikingly inspirational messages, but none of them can reach into your soul and extract the essence of community like Ian Hill does. Ian is NOT your typical motivational speaker. He is a thinker, a doer, a visionary, and quickly inspires everyone to follow in his footsteps and to lead their community. His visit has changed our little community forever and it will never be the same again.

Steven J. Allen, President
Oxford Village Council

Your message -- powerful, stimulating and thought provoking -- calls for action. ... You were certainly the highlight of the day, as reflected by the kids' comments. Can we clone you?

Sam Beukema, Youth Summit Organizer
Vista, California

We had the honor and privilege of hosting Ian Hill as our keynote speaker at our Community Matters Conference here in Niagara, Canada. Quite frankly, we've heard a lot of speakers but Ian was absolutely the best we have ever heard. From the moment he began to speak, he held every single person's attention and generated alternating laughter and tears. He earned a standing ovation and made a lasting impact. Ian's authenticity, warm heart, and stories of illustrating his own "walking of the talk" are truly inspirational.

Brenda Herchmer Manager
Centre for Community Leadership, Niagara College

I have come away from this seminar with a renewed since of pride for the job I do, along with a renewed commitment to myself and our community, to try and provide World Class Service to our customers, so I can do my part in helping build a World Class Community.

You are a great and powerful role model and I admire what you have done with your life.

Outstanding motivator. Amazing!

Attendee, Canadian Parks & Recreation Association National Convention

"Inspiration" is an understated way of expressing the impact Ian Hill has had on Parks and Recreation professionals around the country. His passionate message about building "community" and each individual taking responsibility for contributing to the welfare of all members of our communities, is heartfelt, and impactful to each person who has the opportunity to hear him speak. He has truly been a "gift" to those of us the work in the Parks and Recreation profession. He has re-affirmed the value of our work to the communities we serve.

Pam Earle, NRPA Pacific Regional Director

I cannot remember any other speaker who sincerely made me feel the truthfulness, honesty, motivation, and compassion he displayed. He made me realize that everyone has responsibilities regardless of excuses. I am proud to say that since Ian's presentation, I have taken on those additional responsibilities, and his presence in my life has driven me to become a better person.

Ronald M. Davis, Past President
Michigan Recreation & Parks Association
